The burning question for Nigeria is whether these impact-driven business models are scalable and sustainable there. This new social enterprise project, brought to you by Channels Television, explores a world where young innovators are increasingly attempting to bridge the gap between people and profits.
By putting 12 aspiring social entrepreneurs through their paces as they compete for the potential to win a sizeable grant and priceless mentoring from renowned socialpreneurs, "Fund It Forward" aims to provide an answer to this dilemma.
Each week, as they participate in a series of challenges intended to elevate but also evaluate their developing social companies, each entrepreneur must strike a balance between their business savvy and their unshakeable commitment to making a positive change.
These tasks will allow our competitors to hone their skills and knowledge while also educating the audience on how to launch a successful social enterprise. They will mimic the actual stages of starting a mission-driven firm.
Contestants must persuade a seasoned judging panel that they have the exceptional combination of invention, heart, and business prowess required to prevail over the course of eight difficult elimination rounds.
The judges will be outstanding men and women in the impact sector who want to foster the development of the following generation of socially conscious businesspeople. Their knowledge will include launching profitable businesses, savvy business financing, representing the interests of underrepresented communities, and more.
Young, driven Nigerians between the ages of 20 and 35 with fledgling social entrepreneurship ventures will be the contestants at the center of the trip. The following website is where qualified people are urged to apply:

Zemmy Momoh, the Channels Media Group's Director of Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Impact Programming, is the executive producer of "Fund It Forward."
Nigeria has one of the greatest young populations in the world, with over 70% of the population under the age of 30. This highlights the enormous potential of Nigeria's youth, according to Momoh. If we can simply capitalize on the entrepreneurial and problem-solving mentality that is so palpable in young Nigerians, we have a great potential economic driver.
“The Channels Media Group has social impact and empowerment in its very DNA, so we wanted to play our part in motivating the youth in an entertaining but informative way. We thought, why not give young, mission-driven entrepreneurs a real helping hand and educate and inspire our viewers on the ins and outs of socially motivated business at the same time?”
In collaboration with Lighthouse Television and Filmworks, ‘Fund It Forward’ promises to captivate audiences across Nigeria and beyond. Set to premiere on Channels TV in the last quarter of 2023, viewers are invited to join the transformative journey of these change-making entrepreneurs and feel empowered to become changemakers themselves.
